Anna qualified in 1988 from the British School of Osteopathy. Most of her working career has been in New Zealand. Since 1992 Anna has practiced in Tauranga, Te Puke and Whakatane. She has been working from home in Papamoa since 2008 to balance family life, with her husband and 2 sons, alongside professional demands. Since July 2015 she has also returned to Te Puke Osteopathic Clinic and now shares her time between there and Papamoa.
Anna chairs the Professional Conduct Committee as needed for the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand and completed a Diploma in Law through Waikato University with a focus on Health Law in November 2015. Anna is now working towards a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science with a focus on Pain and Pain Management though Otago University.
She has a particular interest in the neuro physiology of pain, biopsychosocial medicine and the evidenced based use of mindfulness for chronic conditions - as well as a general life skill.
